Please read carefully so that you are fully aware of your rights when booking your makeup service. Making a booking signifies that you agree to the Terms and Conditions below.
Booking Fee
All bridal bookings require a $100 non refundable deposit to secure your wedding date. Deposit is required to be paid within 7 days of the invoice issued date, this amount will come off your final invoice. Please note that the wedding day may not be secure if there is a delay in the deposit. Failure to pay the deposit by the due date will result in your date being opened to other bookings. Once the deposit is paid, your date will be secured, confirming that you also agree to the booking terms and conditions. The remainder of your fee will be due 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.
All non-bridal bookings require a 50% non refundable deposit.
Makeup Service Timing
All makeup services are to be completed prior to the scheduled arrival time of the photographer. It is the client’s responsibility to provide an accurate time to the photographer to arrive as my schedule will be planned accordingly.
Makeup Previews
Makeup previews are highly recommended for bridal makeup but are not compulsory. They are invaluable to gathering information and ideas to create the perfect, flawless look for your special day. It is a great time for us to meet and go through all the details for the day.
Cancellation
Cancellation for non-bridal bookings within 72 hours will require full payment.
If a Bridal booking is cancelled:
- More than 8 weeks prior to the event: no further payment required (booking fee retained)
- Within 8 weeks of the event: 50% of the total booking cost is payable
- Within 2 weeks of the event: 100% of the total booking cost is payable
In the unlikely event, I am unable to attend the event due to personal emergency, injury, sickness or other circumstances beyond my control, I will endeavour to find a replacement of a similar standard, and a full deposit will be refunded to client.
Change of Service
Once the booking is confirmed with a deposit, the number of people booked for service cannot be cancelled. Any cancellations will be subject to full payment.
If timing allows, additional person/s can be able to be added to the booking. Please kindly notify me as soon as possible if you wish to add extra person/s after the initial booking.
Date Changes
Date changes are treated as a cancellation. A new booking fee will be required to secure a new date, subject to availability.
Touch-Ups & Artist Departure
The quoted service includes the application of makeup for all booked clients. Once all applications are complete, I will conduct final touch-ups on each client immediately and then I will depart. Ongoing touch-ups after this time are not included in a standard quote. If you require me to remain on-site or come back for additional touch-ups throughout the day or evening, this is considered a separate service and will be charged at an hourly rate.
Accommodation
For travel bookings that require a 1 hour drive with a start time before 6am, accommodation may be required for the night prior and will be provided at the expense of the client.
Travel Fee
All mobile makeup bookings will include a travel fee. Travel fee will differ based on the location.
Parking Fee
For all mobile bookings, any parking fees incurred at the service location must be covered by the client if adequate complimentary parking is not available.
Photography and Social Media
By securing your booking, you consent to Glow by Claire capturing and sharing images of your makeup for portfolio, website, and social media purposes. If you would prefer your images to remain private, please let me know in writing prior to your event.
